Marktest Group exports Markdata Media Workstation to France

Markdata Media Workstation, the platform for analysis of audience data and publicity campaign planning present in more then 23 countries and with more then seven thousand users, will be, from the beginning of January, substitute the Telereport system (also developed by Markdata) in France.

This tool was launched in November of 2003 on the national market by Markdata (a company of the Marktest Group). Nationally is used by more then 500 media professionals.

Worldwide, the Markdata Media Workstation is already used by big media companies like HBO, MTV, Sony Entertainment, Warner Bros, Cartoon Network e MGM.

1st Training Phase of the Media Workstation at Peru

From 16 to 19 June 2007, at Lima, Peru, Ibope Media provided the 1st Training Phase of the new software for Tv data analysis on the Latin America market – the Media Workstation.

The Training was split into three phases in order to make the understanding of the software features easier, addressing small groups, with representatives from three countries. The 1st phase had the presence of representatives from IBOPETIME Peru, IBOPETIME Chile and IBOPETIME Ecuador.

The training was provided by IBOPE media's representative João Paulo Castro and had the support of Aaron Silva, Ibope Miami Commercial Director. Aaron shared his experience regarding the implementation of the software on the American market for the regional clients and he also shared his commercial vision.

3rd Training Phase of the Media Workstation at Argentina

From 23 to 27 June 2008, at Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Ibope media information provided the 3 rd Training Phase of the new software for TV data analysis on the Latin America market – the Media Workstation.

On this last phase of training the focus was given on the modules and features that substitute the Telereport and Videotrack systems, and a review was made on the Planview and Multimedia modules that are still on a last stage of development.

On this 3rd phase, besides the participation of the representatives from IBOPE Argentina, the representatives of IBOPE Paraguay and IBOPE Uruguay were also present.

The trainings were provided by IBOPE media representative João Paulo Castro and by the Sub-Director of Mercadotecnia and Cliente Service of IBOPEAGB México, Ana Maria Barro, who, besides giving the training for some parts of the software, shared her experience implementing the software on the Mexican market, sharing also her commercial vision towards the tool. Luis Hinojosa, Executive Director for the Operation and Products of IBOPE Media, also participated, giving a status of the implementation of the Media Workstation on the International market, besides her technical contributions, always relevant, along the training.

IBOPE Media launched Markdata Media Workstation at Brazil

The IBOPE Media Brazil has released, on 22 June, at São Paulo, its new software for TV data analysis – the Media Workstation (MW). This tool, which substitutes the Telereport software for the audience measurement platform, beings to be installed on São Paulo TV broadcasters and agencies during the month of July. On the second semester, the MW will reach the rest of the Brazilian states.

With the goal of addressing the specific needs of the Brazilian market, the areas of Marketing and Technical Analysis of the TV Media of IBOPE Media Brazil have been working together, since 2006, in order to make a complete mapping and analysis of all the features of this new tool.

Since Telereport started to be used, in 2000, clients have been requesting new sets of data and new ways to visualize them. The releasing of the Media Workstation addresses these requests, in a way that optimizes the time spent by the clients doing audience analysis and planning.

The main advantage of this system comparing to the older one, both developed by the Portuguese company Markdata, is the flexibility it provides for data analysis. As it is a more modern and flexible software, it allows to analyze the household and individual audience data on a single step.

The releasing of the Media Workstation in Brazil is the proof of the compromise of providing always the most modern software tools to the clients.

VII International Meeting in Madrid

In the past days 18, 19 and 20 of April 2007, it had place in Madrid another international meeting of Markdata. It was already the 7th International Meeting that Markdata organized and once more with the presence of all of our international partners, namely Brazil, Mexico, United States, France, Belgium, Spain, Ukraine, and many others. A total of about 60 representatives of different countries were present.

The meeting had as one of the main goals to present to the market the most recent developments of the company, as well as to analyze and discuss the needs of each client, share experiences and decide on the strategy to follow in the future.
