The system enables users to build multiple templates for different scenarios according to your own needs. The reports designer is a special component where the user can select a layout and a set of filters to generate an analysis, through a wide range of schedules and graphics. This way, users are not restricted to pre-defined layouts with little flexibility.

Is it possible to make day parts and minute-by-minute analysis?

Yes, it is possible to make day parts and minute-by-minute analysis. Users can analyse the audience for any overall time period or specific periods per channel, weekday, day, month and so on.

Can we make a competitive analysis in order to analyse a certain programme and what has been scheduled against and the performance and evolution?

Yes, the system can analyse the performance of a program, compare it with a different broadcast day for the same program, analyse it against his competition for the same broadcast period.

It is possible to create different target groups (demographic, behavioral…) in order to analyse them in the individual module of the application (small, medium, high viewer...).

Are the demographics and channels available only in local language or is it possible to add names in English?

The applications are totally customizable and adapted to each customer and each country, which means that it is possible to have names both in English or native language. Furthermore the language is “open-source” which means users can modify the translation themselves.

Is it possible to add own programme logs even if they don't come from the ratings institutes?

Yes, it is possible. If a country only has audience information and doesn't have more information about the programs, if the channel has more information available it is possible for our software to directly load that information, for instance a program grid. We provide data converters that integrate the information in our software. Besides there is the entity manager, a powerful tool where users can increase the information of the database by themselves.

Can the report be exported to Excel and Power Point?

Yes, in the software the outputs are exportable to TXT, EXCEL, HTML, PDF, JPEG, GIF, etc... And report can also be sent by email.

What are the variables used by the system?

Markdata Media Workstation offers several variables that enable users to analyse TV audience and expenditure data (Broadcast Share, Rating, Reach, Affinity, Fidelity, Share, Gross Rating Point, Coverage, Average time viewing,...). There are two types of variables, those that are related to Events and those related to Audience. Besides the variables Markdata Media Workstation offers by default, users can also make their own variables based on a set of standard variables, through the user variables manager module - “Variables Creator”.

Yes, if the client has his own programme grid we can link this information to the audience data.

The entity manager will allow increasing the fields of the events database in order to complete the database with information that the data provider does not produce.

Yes, video and images files in certain formats can be load into specific analysis developed to analyse the video of a program or spot together with respective audience and that way understand how they correlate.

Can the system be customised by users and can you provide examples of it?

Many parts of the system are customisable thanks to its “modular” architecture. So users can themselves for instance configure the software background, the analysis to be available and so on.

Is there anyway to set “automatic” processes in the software, so that regularly daily-work can be executed automatically by the system?
